Hotel Du Simplon – A Favorite for Families in Lyon

Hotel Du Simplon sits on Lyon's Presqu'île peninsula between the Rhone and Saône rivers, 450 metres from Ampère Victor Hugo Metro (line A). The hotel is a short walk from Place Bellecour and Parc de la Tête d'Or, with Confluence Museum also nearby. Accessible rooms with raised toilets and grab rails are available; baby cots are provided free on request.

A daily breakfast buffet features high-quality locally sourced products and homemade meals, served in a bright breakfast room. The hotel also operates a coffee house on site with breakfast in room options. A kid-friendly buffet is available for younger guests.

The front desk is open 24 hours, offering personalised local recommendations and accommodating late check-in. Cyclists have access to bike storage in a closed courtyard for up to four bicycles, plus bike cleaning and repair kits. The hotel is pet-friendly, with pet bowls provided, and includes a shared lounge/TV area.

Family rooms are available, including options with bunk beds and a queen bed for groups of four.
